In 2025 Prioritize God's Presence !!

As worshippers, 2025 must be a year where we prioritize God’s presence above all else. The seduction of busyness and distractions can easily compete for our attention, but nothing compares to the transformative power of being with Him. His presence is the place where we are changed, where our hearts are recalibrated, and where heaven’s perspective becomes our reality. To prioritize His presence means making time daily to seek Him, not out of obligation but out of love and a deep desire to know Him more. This year, let us resolve to linger in worship, meditate on His Word, and behold His glory until we are conformed to His image. Without His presence, all we do is in vain ; it is Jehovah' nearness that brings life, power, and purpose to our worship.

As we draw near, we must come in brokenness and contrition, for God delights in a heart that is humble and surrendered. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 51:17 that "the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise." Bowing before Him in this posture acknowledges our need for His mercy and grace and creates room for His Spirit to work deeply within us. Let 2025 be a year of true repentance and genuine humility, where we lay aside our pride, self-sufficiency, and distractions, and bow before the King of kings. In brokenness, He rebuilds us; in contrition, He draws us close. Let us make His presence our highest priority, for in His presence is fullness of joy, and at His right hand are pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11).
